Hospitality stretches north....

So far this week has been a turnaround from last week. I have been trying to unpack and set everything up. Several people told me that one difference between the south and the north is southern hospitality.  So far everyone (except the mover) has been friendly. One of my neighbors came over today and helped me set up my wireless router and put together a bookshelf.  It was greatly appreciated! Although I have come to think of myself as an independent person in the past few years, I always knew that I relied on other people for certain things. What I have learned about myself in the short time that I have been here is that I am not as independent as I once thought. No doubt living up here by myself will force me to become more independent. It's the small things that I never think about when dad is around to do it for me. I am realizing how much I really appreciated my parents taking care of me and helping me with things over the years.

The first two days on the job have been good. Getting used to new people and procedures is a little taxing, but I am being patient and letting things come with time. I love the job. I work with a lot of really nice people. The client population is exactly who I want to be working with and I am enjoying the specialty field of voice. I am slowly getting my office together. Here are some pics.
